Fiona Hewitt

Fiona Hewitt is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been used for animation, product design, editorial, advertising and publishing with clients such as Paul Smith, Nike, Starbucks, Target, BlueQ, and Chronicle Books and Wu and Wu.

Travel has been her major inspiration throughout her work, most specifically the four years she spent living in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai soaking up the colors, textures, icons and graphic styles of Asia. While there she was transported into a colorful new world filled with Taoist shrines, festivals devoted to the gods of the sea and flea markets filled with kitsch objects she remembers from her childhood.

On her return to the UK she created a company called Wu and Wu which enabled her to transform her love of the Asian design aesthetic, nostalgia and sweet childhood memories into her art and her product range.

She lives and works by the sea in Brighton, UK
